THE OTHER GUYS 51 WILDCATS SENIORS 42. The Wildcats were eliminated from the Bremerton Park & Rec Senior Division Basketball Tournament with this semi-final loss. For all 40 minutes of the contest the team played under control and together but lacked their customary defense quickly. Averaging 17 steals per game throughout the entire season but for this game they only managed to collect 8. AJ Herring was the only player to record double digit scoring, with 10 points. Herring and Keondre Woods led the team with 6 rebounds a piece. Maurice Gans had the most individual steals with 4.

WILDCATS SENIORS 48 WESTBAY AUTO BULLS 47. The Wildcats appeared to be on their way to an easy 1st round win in the Bremerton Kiwanis Goldenball Senior Division Basketball Tournament leading 32-to-16 at half-time. But in the second half the entire team fell back into the old early season habit of not challenging any opponent shots and not rebounding on either end of the floor, which resulted in three open...ing season losses. Fortunately this time they had accumulated a sufficient lead to weather the opponents offensive onslaught. But two key baskets by AJ Herring helped to secure the ugly win and keep the alive to play next Saturday. Herring was the only Wildcat to score in double-figures, with 19 points. Herring also led the team in rebounds (9) and shared steal honors (6) with Maurice Gans. Additionally, he led the team with 5 assists.

SUQUAMISH 44 WILDCATS SENIOR 35. The Wildcats got bit by the same upset bug that bit alot of teams today in the Sheridan Gym in this loss to a 2 & 4 team. Twenty turnovers and 3 assists characterized the Wildcats offensive performance that had no continuity through both 20 minute halves. AJ Herring was the only Wildcat to score in double figures with 11 points. He also led the team with 7 rebounds. Tyler Peterson had a team high 4 assists.

WILDCATS SENIOR 58 ROUND 3/OBD 56. The Wildcats sent a clear message today by defeating previously undefeated and never challenged OBD. The Wildcats never trailed in the contest and repeatedly demonstrated their superior team speed and willingness to work together. AJ Herring led the Wildcats with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assist. Kendra Woods followed with 13 points, 8 reb, and 3 steals. But this monstrous Wildcat victory with one week remaining in the regular season was not a two player show but an all around nine player effort.
